If you’re a woman of color, you know that typical “nude” shades aren’t nude on all skin tones. In fact they sometimes look white! However, Lady Like is so beautiful! This is the perfect nude color on darker skin.

I’m just writing a review about the poll,,,Ballet slippers vs.Ladylike..Before my vote the photo appeared more brown n the Ladylike shade,, so I voted for Ballet slippers..
After seeing final vote,, Ladylike does beat out Ballet..oh well I don’t use any of these regular polishes, only go have gel applied.

Worst nail polish I’ve ever tried. I thought I was treating myself. wouldn’t dry down. And they have this color wrong. It’s nudey, not pink.

This was my favorite color for a long time & I almost finished my old bottle. Bought another one but unfortunately both the color & consistency is different. So disappointed, this was my all time favorite color.

I love, love, LOVE this color - I am think the blue undertones are better for cool complexions whether light or dark. This shade is classy without being stodgy. However, I much prefer the gel couture line, due to both the larger brush and finish durability. PLEASE make “Ladylike” in gel couture!

I got this colour from a friend and when looking at it I didn’t really like the colour. After having it for half a year I decided to try it and now I’m totally in love with this nail polish! It is the perfect colour that goes with anything your wearing and perfect for day to day life. My nails look groomed and taken care of without it being really obvious that I’m wearing nail polish. I bought a bottle wanting a nice neutral nude colour and although this dries a darker nude and with purple undertones its a gorgeous colour and still looks nude enough. I have ended up buying about 3 more bottles, I’ve gotten so many compliments about it and a friend loved it so much I ended up getting her a bottle for Christmas :)

This is a nice quality nail polish, the color wasnt my favorite and the cost was definitely not my fav for the size and quality when I compare to my favorite brand(OPI) but it was decent and coverage was nice. Not a brand I would buy often though unless I got a good sale.

tbh, ive been using Essie nail color polishes for a while and I love them. They have such a wide range of colors and shades which I appreicate and they do look beautiful with a top coat on. it does chip sometimes however I dont think it makes this a bad polish.

Love the cool tone color. Usually always gravitate towards Essie polish because it doesn’t crack. Don’t need much layering. Somewhat affordable but worth the price. I usually purchase this brand at Target since the store always carry’s all the colors that I purchased

Love this color! Applies easily and lasts for quite some time. I like the purple, pink pastel looking colors so this is usually my go too. I usually get this brand at Walmart and it’s not bad priced at all. I mean nail polish lasts for a while so it’s a good buy.

I love this nail color a lot. It's a popular color to use for fall. I think it's very flattering on a lot of different skin tones and is the perfect cross between a darker pink and nude. This is my go to nail color when I don't know what to wear because it matches honestly everything!

Pretty color, but not as nude

I bought this nail color a month ago after seeing it blow up my Pinterest page. It looked like beautiful mauve-y nude color. But after applying it to my own nails, it is very purple - like it matches my hands when they get cold. It's still a pretty color, but if you're looking for a nude color, this is not it!

I have a hard time finding a good nude color that isn’t dull or too light and this has the perfect amount of pink that goes perfect with my skin tone. I love how subtle it is so I don’t feel like I’m completely boring with the color :) love it!! I found the last one at my local Target luckily!

This is a staple colour for me. I use it frequently, for everyday and parties - it's spectacular for any occasion. I wear nail polish almost every day, am fond of experimenting with colours and textures. Lady Like is the one colour that is truly eye catching and people will complement you when you wear it. I have pale Nordic skin, my daughter has a different complexion. This colour works for both of us. Nude colours tend to make me look ill, but Lady Like just brings out the best. Glamorous and discreet at the same time. Love it!

On a whim I gave this color a try in an airport spa and fell in love. My first time using Essie products and this went on smoothly with full color. An excellent nude option for darker skin tones. The mauve undertones look fresher and younger than the browner nudes I've tried in the past.

This is my first essie nude, and i'm in love! Such an amazing formula, so easy to apply, dries very quickly and very uniformly. It's such a beautiful colour and I only need two coats, and i'm good to go. My favorite nail polish ever, definitely recommend.
