step 1: start with your favorite essie basecoat, such as smooth-e.


step 2: polish 1 coat of piece of work on the ring finger. once dry, go in with a second coat of polish to make it color more opaque.
using a fine detail brush, dip it into piece of work and polish a french tip on the middle finger.


step 3: with the same brush and moving on to the index finger, create a curved line on a diagonal. fill in the bottom part with the shade piece of work.


step 4: next, move on to the thumb using the same shade piece of work. mimic the design of the index finger but do the opposite colors. create a curved line on a diagonal from the tip of one side of the nail to the middle edge. fill in the top with the shade.


step 5: clean the fine detail brush in acetone, and on to the next color! dip the brush into pencil me in and create a french tip on the pinky nail.


step 6: with the same brush and the same color (pencil me in) create two curved lines on the middle finger going from the cuticle to the tip of the nail. fill in the middle with the pink!

 

step 7: with the same brush and color, move on to the thumb, create a curved line on a diagonal. fill in the bottom part with the shade.

 

step 8: let all of the above dry! clean the fine detail brush in acetone, and dip into handmade with love. using light pressure, outline the green and pink curves on the thumb and index finger.

 

step 9: move back to the pinky now! put a dollop of handmade with love on a palette and using a dotting tool (you can also use the back of a pen) dip into the polish, and place 5 dots in a circle, overlapping with the french tip, to create a flower design.

 

step 10: clean the dotting tool, put a dollop of pencil me in on the palette, and dip into it. place 5 dots in a circle on the ring finger, dragging each a bit towards the center.

 

step 11: clean the dotting tool one last time, put a dollop of piece of work on your palette, and dip into it. place 2 dots in the center of the flowers on your ring and pinky nail to create the middle of the flower.

 

step 12: let everything dry down completely, and top with gel-setter topcoat! once fully dry, rehydrate your nails with apricot cuticle oil.
