step 1: apply your preferred essie base coat

step 2: with a thin striping brush, polish stars of different sizes across on each nail using it's not you... and ...it's mercury

step 3: fill in the stars with your detail brush, using each shade from the mercury in retrograde collection

step 4: working one nail at a time, apply gel.setter topcoat, and lightly press crystals into the polish as it dries

step 5: for added sparkle, apply crystals to your fingers with eyelash glue!
